Alessandro Rosina heading for Sunderland?

29-year-old Italian Alessandro Rosina has been linked with a move to Sunderland. The attacking midfielder is one of Paolo Di Canio's top targets for a transfer this summer.

The Siena forward has enjoyed time in Russia - where he played for Zenit - as well as Parma and Torino in the past. Paolo Di Canio is connected to the agent of the forward, and privately discussions for a transfer to The Black Cats have already begun.


The 5 foot 6 player has been lined up as a replacement for Stephane Sessegnon, who is expected to quit the Stadium of Light this summer.
