Luis Suarez eager to push through Liverpool exit
Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has asked his club to listen to any transfer offers for him this summer. Real Madrid have been persistently linked with the Uruguayan, who will miss the 10 opening games of the Premier League season through suspension.
Suarez has made a lot of noise regarding a move away from Anfield so far this summer; whilst the club have also indicated that they have no plans to sell the former Ajax man.
Suarez, who is currently on international duty at the Confederations Cup with Uruguay, told Spanish newspaper Marca: “First I have a contract with the club, but if one day I want to sign [for another club], Liverpool will hear the offer, as it does with other players.
“They must agree with other teams, but the word of the player, in this case mine, is important. If you need a change, you should listen to the player.
“Every player aspires [to be the best] and if you ask a child of eight years, they would say one day they would go to Real Madrid or Barcelona.”
