West Brom make bid for Nacer Chadli
West Bromwich Albion have made an offer for Belgium international winger Nacer Chadli. The FC Twente player has been linked with a host of English sides with the likes of Norwich, Arsenal and Fulham also keen on the 23-year-old but WBA are reportedly the first to make a concrete bid.
Chadli enjoyed an impressive season last year in the Eredivisie, as the Belgian international scored over 10 goals from the flank for the Dutch side. The Liege-born youngster reportedly requested a transfer away from the Netherlands this summer, and Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk were amongst the first to express an interest.
However, the player is only willing to move to England as he looks to begin the next chapter of his career.
The player's agent, Daniel Evrard confirmed that moving to England is the player's first and only option: "It is hard to choose Ukraine this early in the transfer window, when everyone around him wants to see him play on a Saturday in the Premier League, a competition he would really like to play a part in."
