Stoke City to make move for David Bentley
Stoke City are considering a move to free agent David Bentley. The former Blackburn, Tottenham and Arsenal midfielder was released from Spurs at the end of last season and is on the look out for a new club.
Stoke's new manager Mark Hughes is eager to revamp his squad and reportedly sees Bentley as a useful option for his squad.
The player spent last year on loan at FC Rostov and Blackburn but failed to impress suitably to be offered a permanent deal at both teams. Stoke are eager to find new players for the season ahead, and Bentley could be an attractive option on a free transfer. Mark Hughes is reportedly a fan of Bentley's talents and could make a move in the coming days.
