Ezequiel Garay nears Man Utd move

Benfica defender Ezequiel Garay is just days away from making a switch to Old Trafford. Reports in Portugal indicate that the 26-year-old has been found out looking for a residence in Manchester, ahead of his arrival to the Premier League.

The Argentine defender is reportedly subjected to a £17m move to the Red Devils, after notching up 45 appearances in all competitions for Primeira Liga runners up Benfica last season.

The defender was largely influential in the club’s excellent run to the Europa League final and a close second place finish in the Premiera Liga.Garay who had also influenced interest from Europa League champions Chelsea and his previous club Real Madrid, would now just have to settle with receiving half his transfer sum, according to a clause in his contract with Benfica.
