Arsenal move talk delights Luis Suarez

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is happy to have been linked with a move to the Gunners, but insists no decision has yet to have been made regarding his long term future. Suarez, 26, has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

There had been some suggestion that the Uruguayan international forward wanted to leave England completely and favoured a move to Spain; however, it seems that news of Arsenal's interest appeals to the former Ajax man.


"One has to be thankful that despite everything that's happened. Clubs still value players for what they can do on the field," Suarez told a local radio station in Uruguay. "That makes me think that I can come back and do things well over there.


"The press have given it to me in England but, like we say, I've given them stuff to feed on because if I hadn't done anything then probably they wouldn't have been as bad.


"But football is like that and you have to be accustomed to all that and it's good that the English clubs still want me."
