Everton asked to pay £12m for Alessandro Matri
Following an enquiry made by the Toffees for Juventus striker Alessandro Matri, the turin based club have demanded the Premier League side to fork out £12m for the player according to Mediaset.
The new Everton manager Roberto Martinez, is in dire need of a reliable goalscorer who could give good competition to recently signed Arouna Kone. Fellaini was Everton's top scorer last season with 12 goals in all competitions
The 28-year-old Italian International Matri could be set to leave the Serie A champions as they plan to rebuild their squad following the signing of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.
The talks are already on between the two clubs with Everton unwilling to match the asking price which is set at £12m.
