Mory Kone on Everton's transfer shortlist
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has made an offer for Le Mans defender Mory Kone, believed to be in the region of 1.4 million Euros. The defender is available for a small fee as the player hopes to move to a bigger club in search of regular first team football.
Accoding to French paper L'Equipe, the defender is unhappy that he has yet to force his way into Le Mans' first team plans and is hoping a move to England will help boost his playing time. The Toffees are believed to be front runners for Kone's coveted signature.
The French under-19 international has also attracted interest from other parts of Europe as Greek side Panathinaikos and Spanish side Real Sociedad are also believed to be in the race for Kone's signature.
