Bernard agent hints at Mineiro exit

Brazilian international Bernard's agent has revealed that the Arsenal target has played his last match for Atletico Mineiro.

Adriano Spadoto, the player's agent, tweeted imediately after Mineiro's Copa Libertadores win over Olympia : "Congratulations, Bernard. Double-winner! Confederations Cup, Libertadores . . . the perfect farewell."


Arsenal are reportedly the favorites to land the highly rated Brazilian midfielder and are likely to beat their north London rivals to his signature.


The French media has been abuzz with rumors of a deal between Arsenal and Mineiro being struck over the sale of Bernard. However, both the player and Arsene Wenger  have rubbished such claims. 


However, with Copa Libertadores now over, it is expected that the Brazilian youngster will decide on his future soon enough.
