Everton and Bordeaux chasing Jean Beausejour

Everton and Bordeaux in race to sign Wigan midfielder Jean Beausejour. The Chilean left winger is one of the most sought after players in the Championship and is expected to complete a move before the transfer window closes at the end of August.

Beausejour, who has been in England since 2010 when he arrived at Birmingham City from America, has proved himself to be an important member of the first team for the Latics as he helped them to the FA Cup last season.


Everton manager Roberto Martinez is a big fan of the player having signed him from Birmingham back in 2011 and is expected to make another move for the Chilean.


Bordeaux are also interested in the player, who is valued at around £1.25 million.
