Ireland vows to score more

Man City midfielder Stephen Ireland has vowed to concentrate on scoring more goals for the Citizens. The Irish midfielder scored the winner against Sunderland on Monday, and was lucky to escape punishment for his actions.
He said on the clubâs official website: âWe have to get up and support the front man, looking for the bits, flick-ons and when we go into games we got to be patient and keep the belief that they are going to come.
âIt could be the 89th minute when we score, but weâve just got to believe that the ballâs going to drop and keep the concentration and composure to finish it.â
He added: âThereâs a great team spirit and itâs a team game. Itâs not about individuals taking the plaudits itâs just about us knuckling down together.
âWeâre third now and who knows what we could achieve by the end of the season?â
