Atletico Madrid chasing Chelsea star Juan Mata

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata could be returning back to his homeland Spain after an Atletico Madrid representative reportedly arrived in London for talks over a loan move for the player.

With the arrival of Willian, it is understood that Mata has slipped even further down the pecking order and is likely to exit Stamford Bridge.


“You are all very well informed, and know lots of things that I have not told you. We will keep working in these last days of the market -- we hope more coming in than going out," said Atleti manager Diego Simeone.
