Swansea striker Wilfried Bony hopeful of Michu stay

Swansea City's new summer arrival Wilfried Bony is hopeful that his fellow team-mate Michu remains at the club, as he feels that the duo could form a great partnership at the front for the Welsh side.

The Swans' player of the season has been reportedly linked with a move to Arsenal after his excellent debut season with the Capital One cup champions.

 Bony told reporters : "I have heard the talk about Arsenal. But I hope he stays because he is very important to us.


"Maybe it will also help me because defenders are looking at him and that can bring more room for me.

"We have been working together and we know a little bit more every day and can be better and better with each other."

Swansea are currently placed at the bottom of the Premier League having faced consecutive defeats this season.
