Nicklas Bendtner's move to Hull City in tatters
The transfer saga of Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has once again followed a similar route, as Hull City Tigers could not afford the player's wages.
The Danish International's high wage demands have proved to be a deterrent for every club which has registered interest in acquiring his signature. The likes of Eintracht Frankfurt and Malaga have already stepped out of the race to sign the player mainly due to this issue.
Premier League newcomers Hull City and Crystal were considered as the only clubs willing to sign Bendtner, but the prospect looks to be bleak as a pipedream.
The Hull boss told the Metro: "Bendtner has terrific ability but it’s difficult with the amount of money he earns at the minute.
He also added: “Everyone assumes an interest in Bendtner but the problem with Nic is can I afford him?”
Meanwhile at today's press conference, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that the Dane could play a part of the Gunners' season this time out.
“The chance for him to leave now is very small,” he said.
“If he comes back well and gets fit, I will use him.”
