Gabriel Tamas heads for Crystal Palace

West Brom's 29-year-old defender Gabriel Tamas has been told he is free to leave the Hawthorns, with Crystal Palace set to make a transfer deadline day swoop for the centre back.

The defender, born in Brasnov, Romania; has fallen out of favour with his manager Steve Clarke and WBA and is known to favour a move to another Premier League club as he searches for regular first team football.


The 6 foot 2 defender is available for around £1.5 million.
