Ibrahimovic never considered quitting PSG

Paris St. Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that despite being linked with a move back to Italy, he never really considered leaving Parc des Princes this summer.

The 31 year old mercurial striker has been in great goalscoring form for the Ligue 1 side but has been constantly linked with a move away from Paris this summer. With PSG signing Edinson Cavani from Napoli, many believed Ibrahimovic would be forced to make way for the Uruguayan in the first team.


However, the Sweden international insists that he never really contemplated about a move this summer.


Ibrahimovic said: "I always knew that I would not leave Paris St Germain this summer. The club takes care of me very well.


"Of course, you never know what will happen, but I never really considered leaving PSG."
