Auxerre keen to keep Paul-Georges Ntep
Ligue 2 side Auxerre are hopeful of tying down young striker Paul-Georges Ntep into a long term contract at the club amidst interest from other clubs.
The 21 year old striker was handed his first team debut last season and impressed the manager Bernard Casoni. His eights goal in the last term prompted the French club into offering a contract with the club.
The striker has gone off to an impressive start this season having scored four goals already attracting the interest of Qatar side Al-Jaish and English club Crystal Palace.
However, the France U-21 international has insisted on having a release clause inserted in the contract and the club chairman confirmed the same.
Auxerre's chairman Guy Cotret explained in L'Equipe: "We will put a clause in his contract that could make him leave if a club pay a fee."
