Simon Mignolet: Luis Suarez's return is a boost for Liverpool

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has suggested that the availability of star striker Luis Suarez will help the club win more games this season.

The Uruguayan International made his comeback for the Reds since the biting incident against Branislav Invanovic last season, during the club's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the third round of the Capital One cup on Wednesday.

Mignolet told the Liverpool Echo: "Seeing him come back into the squad is a big boost for us.Everyone knows the quality he has and it is what we need for Liverpool.


"We know there's a lot more to come from him and I'm sure he will score goals and win games for Liverpool again."

Liverpool will face relegation threatened Sunderland in their next Premier League encounter at the Stadium of Light on Sunday.
