Tottenham chasing Youri Tielemans

Ambitious Premier League side Tottenham have made an enquiry to Anderlecht for their young midfielder Youri Tielemans. The 16-year-old Belgian has burst onto the scene in the Jupiler League and has impressed many with a host of excellent displays for his boyhood side.

Tielemans has been on the books at Anderlecht since 2002 but it will prove difficult to persuade the youngster to stay put if the interest of Tottenham turns into an official offer. Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy has made it a top priority to secure the signature of the youngest and best quality players from around Europe every summer and Tielemans is a player that could move to White Hart Lane next summer.


Anderlecht have told Spurs that they are not willing to sell the Belgium under-21 international but an offer of more than 2.5 million Euros could be enough to persuade the Belgian side into a quick sale.
