Tottenham Hotspur plot move for Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan

Tottenham are looking to add the highly talented Benfica star Nicolas Gaitain to their ranks when the transfer window reopens in January.

Andre-Villas Boas is set to continue on his spending spree by adding the talented Argentine winger to their ranks and a transfer fee in the region of £30m is currently estimated to lure the player to the North London outfit.

Gaitan is keen to move to a club with higher ambitions and the likes  of Atletico Madrid and Monaco are also said to be monitoring his situation.


Spurs are set to continue more players in January as they aim to secure a Champions League spot , after narrowly missing out on fourth place to rivals Arsenal last term.
