Wolfsburg open to Kevin De Bruyne transfer
Wolfsburg open to Kevin De Bruyne transfer
Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are ready to make a bid for Chelsea's out of favour attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, but only if the Belgium international is available during the January transfer window.
General manager at Wolfsburg, Klaus Allofs, has admitted that De Bruyne is a player he very much admires and would consider a transfer for the player if he is available. Allofs had a similar role whilst at Werder Bremen and during his time there he brought the Belgian international De Bruyne to the club on loan.
Allofs said of a possible move for the player: "At Werder, I have seen just how good De Bruyne is.
"If such players are possible, you of course think about them. But we should not raise the hopes of our fans. In the end they comment: 'Once again, you failed to sign him'."
