Liverpool to rival Tottenham Hotspur for Mohamed Salah's signature?
Liverpool are set to battle it out with Tottenham Hotspur for the signing of highly-rated FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah during the winter transfer window.
Salah has been in impressive form this season, and has caught the eye of manager Brendan Rodgers with his performances in the Champions League, which included a goal in the club's 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Match Day 1.
Brendan Rodgers is keen on adding attacking options during the transfer window, as he aims to take the club back to its glory days, and Salah could make a positive impact on their chances of Premier League success.
With Spurs also keen on the player's services, Liverpool will have to offer a fee in the region of £15m in order to sign the 21-year-old Egyptian International come the January transfer window.
