Diego tells reporters: Arsenal want to sign me

Wolfsburg's attacking midfielder Diego has put himself in the shop window today after telling reporters that he would make a move to Arsenal. The Brazilian playmaker also told the press that Arsenal are amongst the teams interested.

The 28-year-old is on the radar of several English teams and Southampton are believed to be one of those gunning for his signature. However, Diego told reporters that Arsenal would be his preferred option.


“I know there is interest from Premier League clubs. I have heard Arsenal is one of them," said Diego.


“It would be the ideal destination for me because their style suits my characteristics perfectly. Of course I would say ‘yes’ to Arsenal.
