Trabzonspor eyeing move for Dimitar Berbatov

Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov has been associated with a switch to Turkish outfit Trabzonspor during the January transfer window.

The Turkish club's president Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu, has revealed that the Bulgarian veteran forward is considered their main transfer target during the New Year.


"Berbatov is on our agenda. We want better quality," He said.


32-year-old Berbatov has failed to impress at Craven Cottage so far this season, having just scored two goals in all competitions for the West London club.


With the former Manchester United star having just one year left in his current contract with the Premier League strugglers, reports had earlier surfaced linking the player with a surprise switch to La Liga giants Barcelona.
