Man Utd make bid for Dundee United star Ryan Gauld
Manchester United have reportedly started the bidding war for the signing of Dundee United starlet Ryan Gauld.
The 17-year-old, dubbed 'Mini Messi', has scored an impressive five goals in 16 appearances for the Terrors this season, and has been eyed upon by scouts of several European clubs which include high-profile Premier League sides in Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United.
The People reports that the Red Devils are keen to get a front foot in the race for Gauld's signature and have offered an initial payment of £3m, with an additional clause assuring three money-spinning friendlies against the Scottish Premier League outfit.
Gauld is currently valued around £6m by Dundee United.
