Man Utd and Liverpool interested in Pedro

Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly set to battle it out for the signature of Barcelona winger Pedro during the January transfer window.

The talented Spanish International looks set to make way from the Camp Nou, having featured mostly as a super-sub for the Catalans in recent seasons, and  The Mirror reports that the Red Devils and the Reds are looking at the possibility of taking advantage of the situation and securing the player's services during the New Year.


However, reports elsewhere suggest that the Premier League duo could face a tough challenge to sign the player, as they are likely to face competition from other top clubs in Europe for the talented forward.


It will take a huge fee to tempt the La Liga giants to part ways with Pedro, due to the club's lack of depth upfront following Messi's persistent injury problems recently.
