Man Utd target Everton Ribeiro plays down January move
Manchester United target Everton Ribeiro has insisted that he is unlikely to make a move from Cruzeiro during the winter transfer window.
Ribeiro has been attracting interest from a host of European clubs in recent weeks, with Premier League champions Manchester United believed to be leading the race for his services.
However, the 24-year-old, who was awarded the best player award in the Brazilian top tier last term, has claimed the reports as just "speculation" as he played down talks of a move away from the club in the New Year.
"There is a lot of speculation but for now I am just enjoying my vacations," He said. "I'll present myself at Cruzeiro on 6 January to have a good pre-season and another great year at Cruzeiro."
The former Brazilian Under-20 international signed for Cruzeiro from Coritiba in 2012.
