Arsenal to splash out on Newcastle duo?

According to RMC sport Arsenal could be set to splash out €36m on Newcastle United Duo Yohan Cabaye and Davide Santon. The two have been pivotal for the Magpie side that sits comfortably in eighth position in the Premier League table.

Yohan Cabaye was linked with a summer move to the Emirates too and it looks like Arsenal may follow up their Initial interest. Santon could be soon as a replacement for Bacary Sagna who is a free agent in the summer and has been linked away.


Santon can fill both full back positions equally well and an interest makes sense whereas Cabaye could be a replacement for Spaniard Mikel Arteta who is getting on in years.


It remains to be seen if Newcastle accept to part ways with two of their better players mid-season.
