Lambert denies interest in players
Aston Villa Manager has denied interest in Steven Defour of Porto and Nurnberg midfielder Hiroshi Kiyotake. Both players have been linked with a move to Premier League in the last month.
Villa have been looking at players following injuries to players and their perilous position in the league.
Speaking on the speculation regarding Defour Lambert told Birmingham Mail,
"No, there's nothing in that. I've not seen that one."
His response was similar when asked about Kiyotake.
"Who? At Nuremberg?" Lambert questioned. "It was a lad I tried to get in the summer, but things have moved on from that. Nuremberg are fighting to stay in the Bundesliga. Good player."
Aston Villa currently lie 11th in The Premier League table just five points of the relegation spots.
