Juan Mata arrives in Manchester for United medical

Juan Mata has touched down in Manchester to undergo a medical with Man Utd's medical team. The Spain international looks set to agree a £37 million deal from Chelsea to the Red Devils.

The 25-year-old has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and Manchester United are now ready to take advantage of Mata's situation with an offer for the attacking midfielder. The player, who has 32 caps for his country, is expected to finalise a deal this afternoon.

Juan Mata's agent told reporters: "Yes, it's true that he will be undergoing a medical today. We expect to wrap up a deal before the weekend."
