Agent in London for Capoue talks

Reports suggest that agent Mino Raiola has arrived in London to push through a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue to Napoli. The 25 year old has struggled to establish himself in club’s plans since arriving in the summer from Toulouse.

Capoue is at the forefront of Napoli coach Rafael Benitez’s thinking and the both clubs have been talking about a potential deal for some time. Spurs are reportedly asking 9 million Euros for the player who has struggled to make impact since moving.



It is the failure on the part of clubs to agree on the valuation that has brought Raiola to London. His presence is an attempt to unlock negotiations and push through a deal for the French international.



Even though primarily a midfielder Capoue has also played as a center back for spurs and has made 13 appearances for the club since arriving at White Hart Lane.
