Fulham have agreed a fee to sign Olympiakos' striker Kostas Mitroglu. It is understood that the Cottagers will pay a massive £10.5 million to bring the Greek international to London.

Liverpool were amongst the teams tto have shown some interest in the striker in the past, however Fulham appear to be in pole position to secure his signature. The Greek forward has scored 17 goals in 19 games already this season and Fulham want to complete a deal prior to the end of the season to ensure that no other teams trump them in their chase to wrap up a deal for Mitroglu.

The 25-year-old has played for Olympiakos since 2007 and has racked up 28 international caps, scoring 8 goals for the national team.
