Atletico eye Manchester City’s forgotten man
Spanish club Atletico Madrid are eyeing a move for Manchester City’s forgotten man Jack Rodwell. The 22 year old has had a miserable time at the Etihad stadium since moving there back in 2012.
Rodwell is one of the names on manager Diego Simeone's list which also include Ever Banega of Valencia and Javier Pastore of Paris Saint-Germain. Atleti are likely to lose summer signing Joshua Guilavogui who is expected to return to his previous club Saint-Etienne before the deadline window slams shut.
The England international is a box-to-box midfielder who can also play as a center back and his versatility could come in handy for a team who is fighting on many fronts.
The former Everton man has made 14 League appearances for Manchester City in almost two years scoring two goals.
