Cardiff eyeing Magpies striker

Premier league club Cardiff city are eyeing a move for Newcastle United Senegalese striker Papiss Demba Cisse. The 28 year old has had a miserable time at St. James’ Park this season having only scored one league goal all season.

Cardiff City who sit rock bottom of the Premier League are looking at attacking options having decided to let go of their striker Andreas Cornelius. The Dane was sold back to his old club FC Copenhagen.



Should a bid for former Freiburg man fail the club could go back for reading forward Adam Le Fondre.



Cisse made an excellent start to his career at Newcastle having scored 13 goals in 14 league games when he arrived from Germany, though he has since struggled to recapture that form
