Tottenham keen on signing Ukrainian winger

Tottenham have emerged as surprise contenders for the signature of Dnipro star Yevhen Konoplyanka in the summer.

The Daily Mail claims that the North London outfit are expected to beat Liverpool in the race for the 24-year-old's services at the end of the season.

Spurs are understood to have been impressed by the winger's performance in the first-leg of their Europa clash against Dnipro, where they lost by a 1-0 margin, with Konoplyanka's penalty proving to be the match winner.

The report also suggests that Tottenham would have to pay a fee of at least £15m for the player's signature in the summer transfer window.
