It has been reported that The Gunners manager wants to sign the striker and has made an approach to gauge what the Belgian club deem an acceptable value.
It is also been reported that gunners will be willing to pay up to 10 million pounds for the 20 year old who has been likened to Romelu Lukaku.
Arsenal could face stiff competition for Batshuayi with Premier league rivals Everton also in the hunt for the Belgian.
