Tottenham to bid for Lassana Diarra?

Tottenham are set to make a bid for Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Lassana Diarra. The French international has been told he can leave Russia in the summer for around 10 million GBP.

The 28-year-old moved to Lokomotiv from Anzhi in 2013 and has so far failed to produce the kind of performances that persuaded the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid and Chelsea all sign the coveted 5 foot 8 midfielder.

Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood is known to be a huge fan of Diarra and will apparently make a firm offer for his services in the coming months.

Diarra has told his agent that he wants to leave Russia in search of a move to one of Europe's biggest leagues.
