Man Utd prepare summer swoop for former Gunner

Manchester United are understood to be readying a bid for Barcelona's Cameroonian star Alex Song in the summer transfer window.

The talented holding midfielder has failed to live up to his expectations since his surprise switch to Barcelona from Arsenal in the summer of 2012, and his struggle to earn a regular first-team spot could lead to his exit from Camp Nou at the end of the current campaign.

 

Manchester United look frontrunners for the former Gunner, who has expressed his desire of making a Premier League comeback in the future.
