Liverpool eyeing move for Wolfsburg midfielder

Liverpool are plotting a summer move for Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo.

The Brazilian international had attracted firm interest from Arsenal last summer, until he opted to stay in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg.

 

Reports reveal that the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City are keen on securing the 26-year-old's signature in the summer. Liverpool are the latest side to have joined the race for his services, with manager Brendan Rodgers keen on signing a top-class holding midfielder this summer.

 

Gustavo currently has a minimum fee release clause of around £20m.
