Man Utd lead race for So'ton star

Manchester United are reportedly considered front-runners to secure the services of one of Southampton's finest talents this summer.

The 18-year-old has developed beyond his age and is regarded as one among the best young defenders in Europe.

According to Goal.com, United have stolen the march on league rivals Chelsea for the talented left-back, and are readying an offer in the region of £25m in order to land his signature from the South Coast club during the summer transfer window.

 

Shaw has played a key role in the club's excellent Premier League campaign, and has been tipped to make the cut to the England squad for the World Cup finals in Brazil next month.
