Jackson Martinez: I'm an Arsenal fan

Porto and Colombia striker Jackson Martinez has revealed that he was an Arsenal fan as a child and that his agent is currently in discussions with clubs regarding a potential move in July.

Martinez has been an important member of Colombia's squad at the World Cup and will face Brazil in the upcoming Quarter Final stages.

Whilst the forward is focused on his country's hopes in Brazil, the player has also admitted that he would crave a move to Arsenal and that his agent could be locked in talks with other teams already: "My agent is taking care of my future, right now I'm at the World Cup and only after the World Cup I'll evaluate proposals.

"As a child I cheered for Arsenal, they play a game that suits me. If I had the occasion to play there, I would say yes."
