Real Madrid star wants £153k per week to join Arsenal

Arsenal have reportedly faced a stumbling block in their £24m bid for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, according to 25 Hour Sport.

The German international has been constantly linked with a switch away from the La Liga giants this summer, with Arsenal considered favourites to secure his services.

However, 25 Hour Sport claims that the talented midfielder has asked for a huge weekly wage structure of £153,000 to join the Gunners, which amounts to around £8m a year.

It is now understood that the Gunners may now look at other options, with Shakhtar Donetsk star Bernard also on the club's radar.
