Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri has welcomed links with Juventus, Liverpool and Monaco but said there has been no contact with any of the three clubs.

Switzerland international Shaqiri expressed frustration over his lack of playing time at the end of last season and has suggested on several occasions that he would be open to a transfer.

Bayern sporting executive Matthias Sammer recently stressed that Shaqiri was not for sale, but the 22-year-old said his future is still uncertain.

"I'm on holiday and I don't yet know what will happen. My brother's taking care of my future. The only thing that is certain is that I have a contract with Bayern Munich until 2016,"  he told Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

He added: "Certainly Juventus could be a good option and the same goes for Monaco and Liverpool."

Shaqiri only appeared in half of Bayern's Bundesliga matches last season, starting just nine. He was rarely first choice for Bayern manager Pep Guardiola and Pep might bench him again this season.
