Marko Marin joins Fiorentina on loan

Chelsea's out-of-favour winger Marko Marin has agreed to join Fiorentina on a season-long loan, according to a report.

The talented German international joined the Blues from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2012, and has since then failed to make the cut as a regular in the first-team.

Having spent the past season on loan with Sevilla, the 25-year-old was expected to seal a permanent switch to the La Liga outfit. However, the deal never materialized, and The Mirror reports that Marin has agreed on a temporary switch to Fiorentina for the season.

It is understood that Fiorentina could buy him next summer if his loan spell is successful.
