Virgil van Dijk staying at Celtic
Sunderland and Newcastle target Virgil van Dijk will not be allowed to leave Celtic on transfer deadline day. The centre back has caught the attention of several teams during the transfer window.
The coveted defender is too valuable to the Scottish club according to Celtic manager Ronny Deila and any bids for the player will be rejected, regardless of their value.
"He is a very important player for us and we have told him that there is no chance he is going to leave," Deila said.
'He is too important to us, so there is no chance we will let him go during this window. We couldn't replace him.
