Man Utd plot big money move for Monaco midfielder

Manchester United are reportedly set to make an offer for the services of midfielder Joao Moutinho from AS Monaco.

The Red Devils had been busy during the recently concluded transfer window, as they spent over £150m to recruit the likes of Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Angel di Maria, Daley Blind and loan signing Radamel Falcao to the club.

According to TalkSPORT, agent Jorge Mendes who engineered the transfer of di Maria and Falcao to Old Trafford, will once again play his part in luring the Portuguese international to the Mancunian giants when the transfer window reopens in January.

Moutinho joined Monaco from Porto in the summer of 2013.
