Andrea Barzagli is staying at Palermo after Palermo's hierarchy have stated the player remains firmly in the clubs plans. Man City had been linked with the player.

Recently, Newcastle had also been linked with a move for the Italian defender, but it appears that the Italian international will be staying put at Palermo for the time being.
