Man Utd defender Paddy McNair sidelined for three weeks
Manchester United defender Paddy McNair is expected to be ruled out of first-team action for at least three weeks with a hamstring injury, BBC Sport reports.
The 19-year-old had an excellent debut in the United shirt as he produced a number of crucial interceptions to help the club beat West Ham United by a 2-1 scoreline in the Premier League last month.
McNair was expected to replace Jonny Evans in the Northern Ireland squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Greece.
However, BBC Sport claims that the young centre-back is likely to be out for the month with a hamstring problem.
United are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
