Sunderland sign Anthony Reveillere

Sunderland have completed the signing of former Napoli defender Anthony Reveillere on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old is believed to have been training with the Black Cats over the past few weeks, and has now penned a short-term deal that will keep him at the Wearside until the end of the season.

Reveillere could feature for the Black Cats against Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend subject to international clearance.

The move comes about following Sunderland's 8-0 mauling at the hands of Southampton at St.Mary's over the past week.

Reveillere made 18 appearances for Napoli last season, before the expiration of his contract over the summer.
