Everton to sign former Gunner?

Everton are reportedly lining up an offer for Real Sociedad forward Carlos Vela, according to a report.

The Mexican international was in top form for Sociedad last season, as he scored 21 goals in all competitions.

According to Liverpool Echo, the former Arsenal man is now looking for a fresh challenge away from La Liga, with Toffees boss Roberto Martinez keen on giving him a second stint in the Premier League.

Vela scored 11 goals in 62 games for the Gunners between 2005 and 2012.
